Each December, The Dance Center of Greensboro performs a delightful, 90-minute, production of the Nutcracker. This full-scale production is perfect for audiences as it includes all the Nutcracker favorites! We invite you to join in our Holiday tradition with the magic of falling snow, a growing Christmas tree, a dazzling array of dancing sweets & spectacular costumes!
Nutcracker Performance Information
Dress Rehearsal – Friday, December 3rd, 2021.
Performance – Saturday, December 4th, 2021 – 7:00pm performance at High Point Theatre
Performance – Sunday, December 5th, 2021 – 2:00pm performance at High Pointe Theatre

All dancers, currently enrolled in classes at the Dance Center of Greensboro, ages 5+, are eligible to audition and join the Nutcracker Performances. These performance dancers have specific technique classes, rehearsals, and attendance guidelines. These measures ensure your dancer is focused on his/her technical ballet training and performance skills.
Participation in the Nutcracker Performances includes an audition, additional hours spent with the DCG faculty in rehearsals, and rental costumes.
2021 Nutcracker Ballet Audition Dates
Tuesday, August 24, 2021 – Nutcracker auditions Ages 5-7 from 4:30-5:30pm – $20.00
Wednesday, August 25, 2021 – Nutcracker auditions – Ages 8-10 from 4:30-6:00 – $30.00
Thursday, August 26, 2021 – Nutcracker auditions Ages 11+ from 5:00-7:00 – $40.00
